Portraits
Self portraits using continuous line-blind contour-10mins-15mins each. It's fun to do these, but the tough part is keeping your eyes from wondering to your sketchpad. Trying to cheat. It can be uncomfortable doing blind contours, but with patience you're rewarding with these nice lines.

Self portraits
These are my self portraits I did this weekend. The first two are not very good, but my third was developing really well. Unfortunately I only spend 30 mins of my self portraits because of time constraints and the time limit I've set for myself on these portraits. There's definite improvement, I'm very pleased with my progress.

Incomplete portrait
A self portrait I started and was unable to complete. I had to attend a wedding, so I stopped and never finished it. Which leads me to the question, when do you stop on a drawing? I try to explain to my students that they need to know how to set up their image so that they can stop working in the drawing at a moments notice. This drawing works because of that premise.
