Sketchbook dump

Just dropping off some more of my recent sketch book images. I try to draw 30 minutes a day. But it usually ends up to be 30 minutes every other day. Still, you'll be seeing more doodles in the future. 

Just getting my mini pieces prepped and ready for "sensory" at the ready room. I have roughly 105 pieces to be made into mini 2"x2" artworks for the show. Just got done sanding these blocks of wood now to basically cut and paste the abstract art onto them. I'm mounting the art using matte medium or gel medium . Depending on how much I have left in the bottle. More to come when I have more abstract pieces ready. Sketchbook dump

I'm trying to make an effort and post on all spectrums of my social media sites that I currently use. I'm finding that it is a lot of work. Right below are pictures of my current sketchbook I am working on. It also doubles as my gym log. It's a way of keep my sketch pad with me at all times given that there is a large part of my time used at the gym. I'm pondering the idea of the gym as a source for my artwork. I'm gonna begin doing sketches of the machinery and weight training gear. The way they organize a gym is interesting. It's very repetitious, it's kind of like a metaphor for the oncoming work a gym go'er is about to experience albeit in the form or sets and reps.

I believe I did this drawing at a "hot shots" it's funny taking your sketchbook in public because you do it so you can jot down ideas or doodle something quickly.  I find it to be a nuisance because the times I'm usually out somewhere it's with friends and I find it hard to sit down a draw around your friends because its usually at the detriment of them. You can begin to ignore them, and that's another one of life's balances you have to achieve.
