Recent works in progress

Recently I have been trying to get into the habit of putting in 2-3 hours of painting time in before I go to bed. Doing it every other day. I'd like for to be 8 hrs but I have a day job and I weight train every evening. So I have a full plate currently. Below is the before and after of my gradient painting. To do this gradient Ill blend as I lay down a darker value of the Coker. It's a pain and slow process but I figure people spend years on one painting whats 2 hours gonna be. Currently this the third layer. I need maybe two more to get the remaining under drawing from not showing.

Saint Louis Art Museum

I've been going to the Saint Louis Art Museum afterwork every Saturday it's very nice to go to the museum and just copy from the masters of the past.  I'm doing this while my studio is being cleaned up and reorganized
