call for art contemporary clay

Just trying to get a my little blip out there in the cyberspace world and help out a fellow artist to make a great show.   Its called contemporary clay, as long as its made of clay it will have a chance in being in this show.  So please submit to this show if you are a ceramics artist.  Need all the help we can get.

staying up for bros

getting ready to see a few friends tonight. I find it that Im taking one for the team just so I can socialize.  I lose sleep, but its no different than any other day.  Ill probably take a quick nap before I got to some openings friday night. Going to hit up the soulard art market for the all media exhibition (http://sam.soulardartmarket.org/) of which I juried and curated. etc etc. pretty nice feeling, good sense of accomplishment. Then I might go to concrete ocean or briefly look up other things that are going on.  I cant wait to take a big nap saturday, and to sleep in sunday... man that will be sooooo awesome... Im so busy always. lol

Just got done curating, judging, and hanging a show.  now time to send the artist information out to get labels made.  Hellboy next, then break, then maybe update site some more

2 hours 28 images

about 5 seconds away from uploading 28 images of my new work.  Im not a photographer, and nor am I good with lighting. I just use the auto levels and auto contrast for correcting my issues. everything takes time if done manually and I do not have the luxery of spending a week manually adjusting these images to look presentable. Maybe in a different universe where time doesnt affect us, but it does here. and I am dealing with it.... majorly

little bit frustrated. got lots going on.  curating a show is so stressful. teaching someone is just as hard.  How can one make a dialog to another person for which they can understand it?  That sentence alone is hardly readable, but I think... no I dont.  Anyway Im trying to plot out some thoughts...  Really dont have anything interesting to speak about, and no real direction to this blog.  Other than thoughts scattered.

New To Blogging

Just started a blog, Ill consider it a viral dialog for anyone that is interested. Currently Updated my website (www.tmpierson.com)  Working on some neat ideas, giving art lessons, going to grad school.  Oh etc etc etc.
